Once upon a time, being vegan meant that eating out was a very difficult thing to do but not anymore. Lots of countries are accepting the trend which makes it easier for vegan travelers. You no longer have to depend on sad looking salads as your meals because there are many restaurants that have completely plant-based and cruelty-free dishes.

And I after some research as to where I should visit, I was pleasantly surprised to find so many possibilities. I was so happy that I wanted to book a flight first thing and decided to visit website for that. In fact, thanks to visiting vegan restaurants and supermarkets, you meet other like-minded people feeling a part of the community.

Berlin, Germany

The vegan scene is on the rise that it has gained a reputation of being one of the best destinations for vegans around the world. With plenty of vegan restaurants and cafes around you’ll not only enjoy sightseeing this beautiful city, but you’ll also enjoy the delicious food here. Like I always say, sampling the local food is a great way to learn more about the culture and lifestyle followed in the said place. Not only that, but most normal restaurants also have vegan options. It also has a clothing and shoe store that sell cruelty-free items which is simply an inspiring thing to have. There are also vegan cake shops and ice cream parlous available, which is perfect after a nice healthy meal. Lastly, it is home to the largest vegan supermarket chain.

Tel Aviv, Israel

Globally, Israel is home to the highest percentage of vegans going from 5-8% and it’s on the rise. And most of these vegans live in Tel Aviv. There are around 31 fully vegan restaurants here that serve mostly Israeli or Middle-eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. There’s also a vegan café that serves delicious desserts, called Anastasia. Other than restaurants you have so many options like a vegan deli, a fast-food and diner-style restaurant. Not only that, but there is also a vegan grocery store called Taam L’Chaim – Taste for Life. Due to all these, it’s sometimes considered the vegan capital in the country.

Warsaw, Poland

Probably one of the more unexpected entries here but recently the vegan lifestyle has been gaining quite a lot of popularity here. In fact, the city is proudly home to at least 40 fully vegan restaurants. There are even places such as the Vege Bistro that serves the vegan version of traditional Polish dishes. There’s also a vegan burger joint called Krowarzywa which is said to have the best burger in all of Warsaw and has YouTube videos singing its praises. There are also a variety of other types of cuisines available such as Middle-Eastern, Japanese and even Italian. There are also many places to grab a delicious and completely healthy dessert from. With all this variety, you’re sure to love this classy elegant city even more.

Prague, Czech Republic

Known as the city of a hundred spires, it’s a very gothic beautiful city full of historic places and old looking buildings with superb architecture. Not only that, but it also supports the vegan lifestyle! There are vegan restaurants all over the city and most of them are great. Like I visited Maitrea, a very rustic looking vegan restaurant that’s served some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. While some of the restaurants are quite high-end and thus expensive, there are some that most people can easily afford. With so many choices for food, you can enjoy this historic city. In fact, a few of the many restaurants have been around for quite some time and are located in gothic looking buildings. Great atmosphere, lovely food, and gorgeous sight.

Paris, France

Once upon a time, it may have been known as the least vegan-friendly place but with time, the capital of this romantic city has changed. From awesome vegan burgers to even plant-based desserts, you won’t be disappointed if you visit here. As cafes are a major thing here, you can rest assured that there are indeed vegan café here providing plant-based croissants and excellent coffee. In fact, the high-end eating establishment, Gentleman Gourmet is the first ever place to come up with totally vegan macarons! You don’t have to miss out on all the amazing Parisian cuisine and be proud of the lifestyle you’ve chosen. Furthermore, there are great vegan grocery shops available as well that have popular plant-based brands in stock.

Toronto, Canada

Canada’s most populous city is also one of the top visited destinations among tourists. It also has a very diverse culture which means that it also has a number of vegan restaurants you can eat at. Not only that but some of the most popular veg food events are held here like the Toronto Veg Food Fest. Plus this is the one place where you can enjoy vegan junk food all you want. The awesome waffles at Hogtown Vegan are like a blessing honestly. You can even try out classic diner items at the Mythology Diner, opened by the famous chef Doug McNish in 2017. With so many types of eating establishments available, and since Toronto is inhabited by people of many different cultures, you can enjoy different delicious dishes while exploring this urban metropolis.

Another super diverse busy city where people of all lifestyles live in harmony. And of course, vegan is one of the more common types of people. From fine dining dishes to plant-based snacks and junk food, you can find pretty much everything here. Not only that but the vegan bakeries and dessert shops will sate your sweet-tooth. Being one of the most populated cities in the world, with people from all culture and races, you better do some proper research to find those hidden gems around the city that have some of the most delicious food ever. I’ve sampled some dishes that were better than the usual non-vegan ones. With great food, traveling around becomes more fun.
